When do our stories evolve? Several ways, I believe. Some we are aware of and some are unconscious. One of these ways came to me in the form of an epiphany.
I have a mate, let's call him BOB.
Now BOB often had me providing moral support while he added or modified his 4Be. Not intellectual contributions, mind. No, more like stand there ask questions if something is not looking right and occasionally shut up. For me it was also nice to know the importance of, say a dual battery monitoring system, etc.
The other side of the coin is BOB had to listen to my weird and oftentimes convoluted rants about my characters. He often provide moral support (in some cases, literally). Do our conversations affect how my stories develop? Most definitely as I have found some of these reflections lurking in corners of my books.
Little things in life hey?
